Like many women, my journey into hair care began in my early teens and was influenced by what I saw represented in magazines, TV, movies, etc. The message was clear: straight hair was acceptable, professional, and beautiful, while curly hair was not. Luckily, I shifted my mindset early on and began experimenting with products that helped me accept my curly hair.
